HOW DOES IT WORK?
A dietitian consultation via telehealth works exactly the same as it would in person. The only difference being, you can have the consultation from the comfort of your own home. We use a program called Zoom to conduct your consultation, which can be used on a desktop, laptop or phone.
In the morning of your consultation, you will receive an email from your dietitian with a link to your consultation. Click the link 5 minutes prior to the consultation to access Zoom. During the consultation the dietitian will be able to see (if you have a webcam) and hear you. They will also be able to share their screen with you to show you any relevant resources during the consultation.
